Weekly Open Project Mosaic Workshop
Thursdays, 2 P.M.-5 P.M.
This is a beginning mosaic course, so no experience is necessary and you can feel free to join at any time. Your first session will begin with the basics: learning about and how to use tools, how to cut glass and the basics of mosaic design. You will also create the design for your first project.
This course is designed to allow students to work on their own level and create their own personal projects. Suggested projects will be available, so don't worry if you don't know where to start! Enrollment is limited to six students at a time to provide personal attention to both incoming and ongoing students.
The course is $45 per session. There is no weekly obligation, so you can decide if you would like to enroll in the class for one project or multiple projects.
There is a $10 materials fee per project payable on your first session. This is for adhesive, grout, and training glass. Cutting supplies such as mosaic wheels, nippers, glass cutters and grinders will also be provided for in class use. Since you will be individually choosing your own project, you have the option of purchasing supplies in class, ordering supplies or bringing in your own materials. If you have your own base, glass, found objects or any pictures or sketches, please bring them to the first session so we can start planning your beautiful creation!

Class reservations are made upon payment. It is suggested that you sign up in advance for enough weeks to complete your project as class space is limited.
